Michael Largo was the owner and founder of the legendary St. Marks Bar & Grill in NYC's East Village during the early 1980s. Located on St. Marks Place and First Avenue, the bar was a famous spot for artists and celebrities, including Joni Mitchell, Larry Rivers, Madonna Louise Ciccone, Debbie Harry, Esai Morales, Joey Ramone, Bill Murray, Allen Ginsberg and Keith Richards. The venue gained international fame as the primary setting for the Rolling Stones' 1981 music video for "Waiting on a Friend".
